Steps to painting a skateboard
The last 2 days have been busy with this painting.
It's a mini(penny-sized) skateboard which I'm painting to enter into the Boarded Up 5 skateboard show which will be hanging at City Arts Orlando.
This is the first 6 layers I've put into this painting. In this case, I'm doing a series of acrylic glazes, to build up the color and richness of the piece. A glaze is a thin layer of paint, mixed with gel medium and a water. After it dries, you do another layer. These are the steps I've got so far. Hoping to get it done in the next day or 2.
