Brainstorming Quotidian Space
For the Final project, where we are transforming a daily space, I thought of transforming my car. I live with my parents and there is no place that I could transform in our common living spaces, and my room is way to small and overcrowded to do any such thing. School will be over in about 8 days, so I cannot doing this at school, plus I do not want to. So the last resort is my car. I remember this idea of #artisanlwhips which I’ve seen before where people deck out their cars,

Midterm Progress
After talking to Prof. Furlong about the project and my research, I decided to really push on with the idea of travel and specifically immigration. Today I bought a suitcase at the goodwill and started to think about what and who this bag will represent and what it will have in it... I’m thinking that it will represent a mom. #immigration #installation #travel #luggage
Brainstorming for Midterm Mini Installation
Come up with some ideas for the miniature sculptural installation. What do you want to communicate? How can you activate a tiny space to make the viewer feel something? How can you engage one or more of the viewer’s senses? Include research / inspirational images of artist work. The brainstorming ideas may be informal if you prefer: bullet points or lists are fine. My ideas are still forming and fluid. I am toying with an idea surrounding the thoughts and feelings of travel.
